Warehouse Logistician

Job Description:  We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented team member to support a key customer contract. This position provides logistical and warehouse support for a dedicated customer.  The role combines hands-on warehouse tasks—such as shipping and receiving, order picking, inventory storage, and forklift operation—with administrative functions such as generating reports, tracking logistics data, and participating in coordination meetings.

Description of Duties: Performs logistic program activities from conceptual stage through life cycle of product.  Develops and implements logistics program activities including ILS, technical documentation, RAM, provisioning, etc.; resolves logistics problems; and compiles data on standardization and interchangeability of parts to expedite logistic activities.

  • Provide logistical support for tactical satellite systems and baseband (NIPR, SIPR, and Third Data Packages) systems.

• Enable Maintenance and warranty repair

• Manage equipment spares

• Handle packaging and shipping (inbound and outbound)

• Maintain maintenance action tracking and status update

• Maintain equipment asset tracking and warranty status

• Manage equipment repair turnaround time.

• Provide reports as required

• Perform as a company representative available to attend customer Pre-Mission Conference Calls

• Configuration Management tasks consist of:

• Keep appropriate databases updated to accurately reflect system baselines and perform audits on such database to ensure effectiveness of controls.

• Liaise with the customer to ensure requirements are met and ensure Configuration Management Database (CMDB) integrity. Implement approved changes to CMDB structure, including attributes and relationships.

• Plan a schedule of independent audits and perform audits on the CMDB, comparing its contents with the actual IT infrastructure.

• Provide guidance and support in the maintenance of version control of baseline hardware and software.

  • Manages, issues and transports parts as required, forklift driving/license is required.

Qualifications

Education: Minimum Associates, Preferred Bachelor’s degree

Approved educations substitutions

4 - 6 years military experience in related field with advanced commercial certification instead of education. OR
4 years logistics experience or a certified Professional Logistician (CPL) certificate with four (4) years additional related experience instead of education.

Minimum years of Experience: Shall have a minimum four (4) years logistics related experience. 

Sample Work to be Performed: The candidate shall support management, movement, receipt/shipment of inventory in support of a US Government contract.  Candidate will perform additional warehouse activities as required.
