Qualifications
- Proven experience in theatre production and technical direction, preferably in a multi-use arts facility
- Strong leadership and project management skills
- In-depth knowledge of theatrical systems (lighting, sound, rigging, etc.)
- Ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on technical work
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with budgeting, scheduling, and safety compliance
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or greater in Technical Theater or related field;
- Supervisory experience; especially as a Production Manager or Technical Director;
- Comfortable with an ETC Ion XE light board, Allen & Heath SQ-7 sound board, Behringer X32 sound board and basic knowledge of QLab software or comparable equipment and systems;
- Experience troubleshooting lighting, audio and video equipment;
- Comfortable with hand and power tools;
- Comfortable working with artists, children, families, and rental clients;
- Knowledge of safety and security rules and regulations; and
- Lighting, sound, video, or scenic design experience;
- Experience with virtual meeting and live streaming platforms such as Zoom, YouTube, OBS, mimoLive, or similar programs.

Physical Demands and Working Environment
While performing duties, the candidate is occasionally required to stand for long periods of time. This candidate will also use their hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls. Candidates must occasionally lift, team lift, and/or move upwards of one hundred (100) pounds.
