Qualifications
- An experienced leader with 7+ years experience, including some not-for-profit.
- Comfortable with computer systems and software technologies and able to use them to gain efficiencies.
- A forward-thinking, creative individual with high ethical standards and an appropriate professional image.
- A strategic planner with sound technical skills, analytical ability, good judgment and strong operational focus.
- A well-organized and self-directed individual who is a team player.
- An intelligent and articulate individual who possesses excellent communication skills required for effective interaction with all levels of staff and volunteer leadership.
- An educator by nature who is trustworthy and willing to share information and serve as a mentor to other Department leads and staff members.
- A decisive individual who possesses a "big picture" perspective and is well versed in business operating systems.
- BA in accounting or related field, and not-for-profit experience required. CPA preferred.
- Experience with Financial Edge, Amilia SmartRec, Campminder, and Salesforce NPSP are preferred.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex documents. Ability to respond effectively to sensitive inquiries or complaints.
Physical Demands and Working Environment
- Physical demands: The position requires the incumbent to remain in the sitting position for prolonged hours. While performing duties of job, employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, use hands to handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. Employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to fifteen (15) pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
- Work environment: Working conditions may include being in an open (shared) cubicle/workspace area.

Benefits Overview
Full-Time employees of the JCC are considered benefits-eligible.
The JCC contributes a portion of medical, dental, and vision plan premiums. The JCC proudly pays for 100% of Basic Life Insurance, AD&D, Short-Term Disability, and Long-Term Disability coverage for benefits eligible employees. We also provide additional voluntary benefit plans.
The JCC has a 401(K) Plan available for elective deferral contributions for employees over 21 years of age with no waiting period. The JCC matches 50% of employee contributions, up to 3%, on a 5-year vesting schedule.
Paid Time Off is a day-one benefit, accrued based on years of service and in compliance with Colorado Health Families & Workplaces Act. First-year, benefits-eligible employees may accrue up to 120 hours of Paid Time Off in their first year of service. The JCC also provides paid-holidays and benefits-eligible employees are awarded up to 4 additional “Floating Holidays” per year, prorated based on date of hire. This position will be eligible for Flexible PTO after 2 successful years of employment.
