Yoga Instructor

This posting is for an 1099 Independent Contractor role and is not a W-2 Employee position

Basic Qualifications 

• Must be certified through ACE, ACSM, or other approved nationally accredited organization 
• Must have educational background in Physical Education, Exercise Science, Health Education or related field  
• Must be a certified yoga instructor 
• Ability to work positively with different populations, in groups and individually 
• Must be well-organized and prepared to teach classes 
• Must be able to think independently and develop routines for teaching specific exercise classes 
• Must be able to maintain confidentiality and practice discernment 
• Awareness of proper body mechanics to prevent injury 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Valid CPR/First Aid Certification preferred 
• Prior successful experience teaching to a fitness/gym population 
• 2+ years teaching experience preferred 
• Registered Yoga Teacher 200 (RYT 200) Certification preferred
