Qualifications and Education Requirements
Basic Qualifications
- Four-year college degree in graphic design or related area
- Three+ years of graphic design experience.
- A passion for design and technology.
- A keen eye and focus on details.
- Strong knowledge of brand and creative development processes, effective digital design, and communication practices.
- Advanced skills in Mac/PC Adobe Creative Suite including InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Lightroom.
- Experience with WordPress and basic HTML & CSS.
- Experience and knowledge of digital design.
- Experience creating static and interactive digital ads (video and animation).
- Experience creating web graphics and unique online experiences.
- Thorough knowledge of pre-press processes and print production.
- Ability to evaluate content and suggest improvements for highly effective design outcomes.
- Outstanding time and project management skills, and the ability to deliver in a deadline-driven environment.
- Must be able to work independently and manage multiple projects and people simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced knowledge of printing processes
- Familiarity with UX/UI design.
Physical/Mental Requirements (ADA Compliance)
- Mental requirements include, but are not limited to, the ability to concentrate, take initiative, cope with stress, adapt to and stay alert in a business environment
- To perform the essential duties of the job, the employee must be able to speak, hear, and see.
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Benefits Overview
Full time employees are benefits-eligible. The JCC contributes a portion of medical, dental and vision plan premiums and pays for Basic Life Insurance & AD&D, Short-Term Disability and Long-Term Disability for Full-Time employees. There are additional voluntary benefit plans available. The JCC has a 401(K) Plan available for elective deferral contributions for employees over 21 years of age, with no waiting period.
