Job Overview: 

We’re seeking an Operations Manager with strong food & beverage and entertainment venue experience to lead daily operations at our Cinema Entertainment Center in Joplin, MO.

This hands-on role oversees movie auditoriums, entertainment venues (bowling, arcade, etc.), and especially food & beverage service, including kitchens and bars. You'll ensure an outstanding guest experience while leading and developing your team.

This job requires you to be available to work during the evening, weekends, and occasionally, on holidays.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • · Oversee daily operations in cinema, entertainment venues, and food & beverage outlets (kitchens, bars, concessions)

    · Ensure high-quality food & beverage service with a focus on safety, cleanliness, and guest satisfaction

    · Execute opening/closing procedures and maintain facility readiness

    · Maintain compliance with health, food safety, and liquor licensing requirements

    · Manage inventory, ordering, and vendor relationships

    · Support special events, private rentals, and entertainment programming

    · Recruit, train, and develop staff across all departments

    · Foster a fun, professional, and inclusive environment aligned with our values

    · Resolve guest concerns professionally and efficiently

    · Assist with budget, expense tracking, and labor management to achieve operational efficiency

Qualifications

General Qualifications: 

  • · Previous management experience in cinema, food & beverage, hospitality, retail, or entertainment venues

    · Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills

    · Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment

    · Must be 21 years or older at time of hire

    · Open availability, including evenings, weekends, and some holidays

    · Must be able to run errands as needed with a valid driver’s license and proof of vehicle insurance

  • Preferred Qualifications

    · Background in arcade, bowling, and/or food & beverage management (including bar service)

 

Physical Demands:

  • The employee will be required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms – up to 4 hours at a time.

  • Must possess the mental stamina to maintain composure and efficiency in a fast-paced and stressful environment.
