POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Successfully passes background check, pre-employment drug screening, an any pre-employment aptitude and/or competency assessment(s).
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to remote fleet sites as needed
- Industry certifications a plus (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator)

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE LEVEL
- Minimum 2 years of experience in IT hardware/software installation and basic networking
- Proficiency with Windows OS administration and patching tools
- High school diploma preferred
- Prior experience in a field or fleet-based IT environment is a plus

- Solid understanding of LAN/WAN, DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP and basic routing concepts
- Experience with deploying and maintaining IT hardware such as PCs, printers, switches, and access points
- Familiarity with ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira, Zendesk) and remote support tools
- Knowledge of patch management tools and endpoint security solutions
- Competency with Microsoft Office 365 Suite, Teams, and mobile device setup
- Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, system logs, and network diagrams

The Fleet IT Technician works primarily indoors and will be sitting prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities. The Fleet IT Technician may be required to lift heavy objects; therefore, the Fleet IT Technician must be able to lift 25lbs.

Work hours may include early morning, late afternoon/evening hours, and weekends in combination depending on job demands.
