POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- Successfully passes background check, pre-employment drug screening, pre-employment aptitude and competency assessment(s).
- Possesses a valid U.S. Driver’s License.
- Daily in-person, predictable attendance.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE LEVEL

- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Degree in Automotive Technology, Fine Arts, or Business preferred.
- 3-5 years of supervisor experience preferred.
- 2-3 years in a paint setting.
- Ability to speak, read, write, and comprehend advanced English, with the ability to effectively communicate with people operating at all levels of the company and in a variety of situations.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including both written and verbal communication, with a keen attention to detail.
- Possess strong analytical thinking skills, including creative and critical thinking and data analysis.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated problem solving skills and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
- Ability to act with a high degree of integrity and ethics, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Knowledge and experience as a practitioner of continuous improvement methodologies, Lean Manufacturing, 6S, and/or Six Sigma to eliminate waste and improve efficiencies.
- Knowledge of paint production processes.
- Ability to accept added responsibility.
- Ability to provide appropriate reports.
- Knowledge and experience with ERP systems in Discrete Manufacturing; preferably with Made2Manage ERP.
- Ability to work under limited supervision to achieve customer satisfaction and timely delivery of products.

Daily required to walk, sit, climb, bend, reach and squat/kneel. Work environment includes exposure to hazardous materials, operating conditions, audio up to 85 dB and inclement weather, including typical and atypical outdoor elements and extreme cold and hot weather temperatures. Given these conditions employees are required to wear company mandated and issued personal protective equipment (PPE) (long-sleeve shirt/jeans, blasting hood, steel toe boots, safety glasses, ear protection, and blasting gloves) and must strictly adhere to all safety policies. The Paint Manager may be called upon to stand, kneel, push, pull, reach overhead, stoop, crouch, climb, and lift; therefore, person should be able to lift 50 lbs. independently.
Work hours may include or includes early morning, late evenings, and weekends, depending on business necessity.
