The Customer Service Representative for Radiology Billing provides effective, courteous customer service by forming a working relationship with internal and external customers through communication via email, mail or telephone with customers or company employees.

This is a sedentary role, sitting and/or standing and working at a computer for a minimum of four (4) hours per day as a part-time employee.

  • Answers patient phone calls, resolving issues in one phone call.
  • Opens ARR inquiries as needed and returns phone calls once ARR is answered to resolve issues in one phone call.
  • Reports collection agency payments right away.
  • Generates correspondence to resolve customer disputes.
  • Documents every phone call.
  • Accepts and performs other work as assigned by Customer Service Lead, Customer Service Supervisor, Regional Business Manager or Executive Team.

Work Environment

This job works in a home office environment using the standard office equipment of a computer and phone. Employees are required to show proof of home or renters' insurance when working remotely.

Work Location: Remote

Days and typical hours of work are Monday through Friday. The head office, located in Reno NV, is open between 6:30 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. (PST). 

Full-time employees must work 40 hours each week. Part-time employees must work at least 20 hours per week and no more than 29 hours per week. 

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience

  • High School education or associate degree or equivalent from college or technical school.
  • Two years of related experience or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • At least two years of experience working in a call center and/or customer service.

 

Preferred Education and Experience

  • Experience in the medical billing field.
  • Computer operating systems experience in Windows 7 or Windows 10.
  • Computer software programs in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to type and use a 10-key accurately.
