IT ERP Software Administrator Programmer

The IT ERP Software Administrator/Programmer position is responsible for the support of the Infor XA ERP environment, programming customizations, and integrating with 3rd party applications.

The duties shall include but not be limited to the following:

1. ERP Operations: Assist with ERP operations (Infor XA) and support activities.
2. Administer and support ERP applications and underlying IT architecture. Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues. Implement software updates, patches, and upgrades.
3. Design, program, test, and implement system enhancements, according to technical requirements and specifications.
4. In collaboration with Information Technology team, identify options for potential solutions and assess for technical and business suitability.
5. Work closely with users, developers, and manufacturing stakeholders to ensure technical compatibility and user satisfaction.
6. Professional development: stay up to date on new approaches to deploying technologies in a manufacturing environment.
7. Perform various computer tasks as requested by CIO or IT Systems Manager

1. Bachelor’s degree with concentration in Information Systems, Computer Science, Operations Management or related field.
2. Experience with configuring and supporting Infor XA ERP system or similar ERP.
3. Working knowledge of the IBM AS400/Poweri operating system, and Microsoft SQL server and database.
4. 2 years’ programming experience required with programming and implementing system enhancements, using programming languages such as .ASP, .NET, Java or RPG.
5. Proficient with common desktop applications, such as Microsoft Office, Project, and Outlook.
6. Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
7. General knowledge of the manufacturing industry and technology systems/techniques used to meet business challenges of today.
8. Able to work independently, stay current with technology, and perform duties in a fast-paced environment.
