POSITION EXPECTATIONS 

Position Expectations   

​​The Sales Associate assists the Clearance Store Management team in the overall operations of the store to maximize production, sales, salvage, and customer service.​ 

 

Responsibilities  

  • ​​​Ensures that quality customer service is presented and provided in a timely and courteous manner to all customers and other employees.  

  • ​Maximizes sales performance through proper presentation of merchandise.   

  • ​Handles all customer service needs.  

  • ​Communicates all needs and issues to management.  

  • ​Handled keeping the front registers stocked with supplies, store bags, register receipt paper etc.  

  • ​Adheres to proper cash handling policies and procedures.  

  • ​Helps on salesfloor as needed (if at least one register is staffed during all open hours.  

  • ​Maintains responsibility for store deposits, cash reports, accountable for shortages.  

  • ​Maintains a safe work environment and ensures salesfloor is free of obstacles and hazards.  

  • ​Completes other tasks and assists with projects as assigned by management.   

  • ​Follows Provided Price List Provided by Clearance Manager.  

  • ​Provides excellent and equitable access and service to all customers.  

  • ​Performs calculations in case of system Error Emergency.  

  • ​Handle answering the phone and routing calls to management as needed.  ​ 

 

Education, Experience, and Requirements 

  • ​​Minimum of 1- 2 years of experience as a cashier or excellent cash management experience preferred.  

  • ​Proven track record of excellent attendance, problem solving skills and a positive attitude.  

  • ​Demonstrates excellent customer service.  

  • ​Exhibits mechanical and digital skill compacity to use a register and computer software related to the job. 

  • ​Communicates effectively to inform, motivate, and guide all team members. 

  • ​Excellent training skills and Can-Do-Attitude.  

  • ​Fluent in English, bilingual a plus.  

  • ​Exhibits a high level of integrity and business ethics.  Requires a high level of adaptability and flexibility.
