General Vision

Provide administrative and logistical support to the Hospitality function. This role ensures smooth day-to-day operations, supports volunteer coordination, and maximizes the use of church systems and resources. The coordinator will also collaborate across ministry teams to help anticipate and fulfill needs for church events, programs, and gatherings, contributing to a welcoming and well-supported environment for guests.

Essential Job Functions 

  1. Administrative Support:
    1. Provide administrative and scheduling support for the Hospitality ministry.
    2. Manage incoming requests and communication, ensuring timely follow-up and coordination with appropriate teams.
    3. Utilize church systems (e.g., Rock) to manage volunteers and scheduling.
    4. Other duties as assigned
  2. Hospitality Team Coordination:
    1. Oversee administrative tasks for the Hospitality Team.
    2. Serve as the Sunday point person, coordinating volunteer check-in, team assignments, and addressing on-the-spot needs.
    3. Coordinate Info Central operations and ensure a welcoming, informed guest experience.
  3. Team Collaboration:
    1. Attend Monday morning staff meetings and other staff meetings
    2. Collaborate cross-functionally with ministry leaders to support churchwide events and ensure hospitality and childcare needs are aligned with ministry goals.

Qualifications

Required Skills & Abilities

  • Proficient in Google applications and quick to learn new technology and systems.
  • Strong organizational skills; able to manage multiple tasks and details effectively.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities; calm under pressure.
  • High level of integrity, reliability, and discretion with confidential information.
  • Relational and approachable, with a proven ability to lead and support volunteers well.
  • Team-oriented with a collaborative, flexible mindset.
  • Emotionally steady and able to adapt to changing ministry needs.
  • Committed to the mission and values of Veritas Church.

Education and Experience

  • 2–3 years of previous experience with administrative work
