QUALIFICATIONS:
High School diploma or equivalent experience
2 or more years of cooking experience
Knowledge of sanitation, safety and food handling techniques, rules and regulations as defined by local, state, and federal guidelines.
Apply moderately complex technical skills appropriate for the position.
May adapt procedures, processes, tools, equipment, and techniques to meet requirements of the position.
Patience, tact, a cheerful disposition, and enthusiasm as well as the willingness to handle difficult residents.
Serv-Safe Certification (if expired, recertification within 90 days of hire)
Ability to speak, read, write, and understand the English language.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
