Patient Registration II

This position provides patient reception, scheduling and billing functions for the Osage Nation Health System.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 3 or more years of experience with Electronic Health Records.
• 3 or more years of experience with medical scheduling.
• 6 months of experience with EPIC
• Requires first-hand knowledge of Patient Registration Systems. 

General Qualifications

•  Associates degree in business or related field preferred
• Requires first-hand knowledge of various clinical systems and software including EPIC
• Requires working knowledge of specialized medical terminology
• Remains informed and compliant with current Health System, HIPAA, Privacy Act and OSHA policies and procedures.
• Must be familiar with third party billing information
• Must exhibit good customer service  
• Must maintain a professional attitude and appearance that positively represents the Osage Nation
• Requires a high level of personal integrity and ethics
• Requires a high level of problem-solving skills
• Must always maintain confidentially
• Requires the ability to use Microsoft Office Suite programs
•  Requires good interpersonal communication and teamwork skills
• Basic Life Support Certification
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check
• Must be able to pass a drug/alcohol test
• Must have a clean driving record – may be required to drive a GSA or tribal vehicle to training seminars or meetings
