The Allentown, Pennsylvania office of Norris McLaughlin, P.A., has an opening for a bright, energetic, and hard-working associate. Acceptable candidates include recent law school graduates to associates with 3 years of experience working in a law firm setting. No prior liquor law experience required but a passion for craft beverage industry. The position provides the opportunity to work both independently and as part of our strong Liquor Law team.
Responsibilities:
- Significant portion of workload will include handling regulatory work with State ABCs and Federal TTB
- Drafting and reviewing distribution contracts, production contracts and co-packing agreements
- Advising manufacturers, wholesalers, and retailers on trade practice issues
- Handling some litigation matters and oral advocacy
Qualifications:
- Superior academic credentials
- Excellent researching skills
- Exceptional writing and communication skills
- Must be bar admitted in the state of Pennsylvania, New Jersey bar admitted a plus.
