Demonstrated ability and willingness to learn materials testing techniques, procedures and specifications

Demonstrated ability and willingness to be hands on with tools, machinery, equipment and materials used in materials testing, used in setting up tests and in fabricating test rigs and fixtures

High School Diploma

Ability and willingness to work overtime (generally 10-15% sometimes more) and a varying schedule as required

Ability and willingness to travel to job sites (construction, power generation and manufacturing sites) around 20% on average

A valid drivers license with a good driving record

Good communication skills

Computer literacy

Ability to perform test programs and procedures to written instructions

Ability to work in a team environment

Ability to lift 50lbs or more each day

Ability to set up and utilize the required test equipment

Ability to complete reports and documentation as required

Some experience in materials testing is desired but not required
Standard work hours are 8:00 PM to 5:00 PM Monday through Friday with occasional travel (<10%) and overtime (10-15%).
