NDT Assistant: Temp/Seasonal - Workforce - AL/GA/FL/SC/NC/VA

Summary: ATS is currently accepting resumes for both part-time/temporary/seasonal/permanent NDT Assistants for our NDT Workforce Division. NDT Assistants will work on outages, shutdowns, and project work where they will be dispatched directly from their home, travel will be by personal vehicle and or air travel. Per diem and mileage will be paid. This is a fully remote division; these positions will cover work opportunities with ATS throughout the United States. Candidates MUST BE located in the southeastern US (AL/GA/FL/SC/NC/VA) and within drivable distance of a major airport. Candidates MUST HAVE formal NDT Classroom training. The ideal candidates will be self-starters who work well unsupervised, have strong safety and quality ethics, are leaders, can problem solve on the go, are punctual, have excellent time management, are fiscally responsible, trustworthy, and reliable.
Responsibilities/Duties: NDT Assistant / Trainee
- Perform tasks as directed in order to prepare components or equipment for inspections.
- Interface with personnel to determine scope of work and work priorities in order to meet customer expectations.
- Help clean and organize equipment before, during, and at the completion of projects.
- Document on job training experience as assigned by management.
- Perform other job-related tasks as assigned by supervisors.
- Work alongside certified technicians to help complete projects and learn activities.
