Duties and Responsibilities
- Post requests for Grant Applications on Grants.Gov and retrieve applications.
- Assemble and distributes applications to evaluation panel.
- Provide advice and assistance to INL program offices on drafting RFAs and justifications for non-competitive awards.
- Assemble grant documentation, which includes completion of the grant folder and all necessary documents therein.
- Prepare correspondence, files, approvals, and other documentation in preparation of, and relating to approved grants; aid in drafting regular foreign assistant reports.
- Create Grant numbers and draft the DS-1909 - Federal Assistance Award form, award and bureau/post specifics, the Grants Officer Representative letter, and supporting negotiation memorandum.
- Organize and maintain data information within the State Assistance Management System (SAMS) required for Department of State foreign assistance when this system is deployed to INL. File all documentation electronically and hard copy until SAMS is implemented in INL.
- Upkeep the Grants Management Database; monitors and tracks the required program and financial reporting for grant and cooperative agreements.
- Coordinate the official closeout of INL foreign assistance awards, in collaboration with Programs, Post, and other relevant offices.
