Description

BlueForce Inc. is seeking a Unit Deployment Manager (UDM) in support of the Headquarters Air Combat Command (HQ ACC) at Creech AFB, NV. The UDM will be responsible for the readiness of unit personnel and equipment and shall ensure mobility requirements, scheduling, programming, and Unit Type Code (UTC) equipment and supplies are ready for deployments.

General Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Assis the unit by providing management of the mobility program.
  • Process unit members for exercise and deployments in accordance with wing, NAF, MAJCOM, Air Force and AOR policies/requirements.
  • Procure deployment equipment and prepare a list of requirements for purchase to Squadron Resource Advisor. 
  • Interface with unit schedulers to ensure individuals complete requirements in a timely manner.
  • Track, comply with, and report individual and unit deployment statistics.
  • Provide weekly updates to Government-designated personnel containing the duty status and location of deployed personnel.
  • Monitor, maintain and track personnel mobility folders for all units and attached personnel.
  • Guide unit personnel and equipment processing through the Personnel Deployment Function (PDF) and Cargo Deployment Function (CDF).
  • Oversee the in-processing/out-processing, temporary deployment (TDY) and leave coordination for mobility purposes, to include the mobility information verification and personnel availability.
  • Verify squadron personnel meet world-wide mobility training and records requirements, to include but is not limited to individual security clearances, Law of Armed Conflict (LOAC), weapons qualifications, immunizations, Force Protection (FP), Information Assurance (IA).

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Possess a Top Secret/SCI security clearance.
  • Ability to obtain NATO Alternate Compulsory Control Measure (ACCM) access.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience working in/with the military and either:
    • Two (2) years of experience working as an MQ-9 or RQ-170 Squadron UDM, OR five (5) years of experience working in a DoD Squadron deployment office.
  • Demonstrated military experience related to unit mobility responsibilities and/or as a logistics planner.
  • Knowledge of principles, policies and procedures of Air Force mobility programs, training requirements, mobility computer systems and products, reporting procedures and preparation and organization for delivery of equipment to the CDF.
  • Demonstrated experience using Microsoft office application.
