Advisory services may include the following areas of expertise: combat training, military justice, military intelligence, force development, military education, counterinsurgency, cease-fire monitoring, doctrine development, military staff.Â
Overall Minimum QualificationsÂ
- Must have reached, at a minimum, the rank of O-5 in the military or equivalent (i.e., FS-02/GS-14) in a civilian capacity. Â
- Experience working with senior foreign military officials and/or senior foreign government officials.Â
- Fluent English language speaking and writing ability.Â
- Demonstrated knowledge with all relevant State and interagency guidance regarding U.S. objectives.  At a minimum, with the following documents:Â
- National Security Strategy (NSS).Â
- State-USAID Joint Strategic Plan (JSP).Â
- National Defense Strategy (NDS).Â
- Integrated Country Strategy (ICS). Â
- State/PM’s Functional Bureau Strategy (FBS).Â
- DoD’s Joint Strategic Campaign Plan.Â
- DoD’s Regional Combatant Command Theater Campaign Plan and Contingency Plans.Â
- DoD Country-level Plans.Â
- Foreign language requirements may apply once contract is awarded.Â
- Medical requirements may apply once contract is awarded.Â
- Citizenship requirements may apply once contract is awarded.Â
- Security clearance  requirements may apply once contract is awarded.Â
