Job Summary: The Compact Equipment Sales Representative (CESR) is responsible for the business development and ongoing maintenance of compact equipment customers within assigned sales territory.
Job Responsibilities:
Perform daily activities in the sales department to include the following, but not limited to:
- Developing and maintaining a solid base of customers for compact equipment sales.
- Promoting the sales of compact equipment lines and customer support programs.
- Maintaining targeted company profit levels on sales.
- Ensuring customers are kept current with manufacturer’s information.
- Maintaining high levels of product and service knowledge.
- Taking positive action to improve quality and customer satisfaction.
- Reporting competitive market data.
- Frequently visiting customer facilities and job sites to investigate current and future equipment needs.
- Continually developing assigned sales territory and increase customer base.
- Attend sales training to remain adequately informed of all compact equipment products and services.
- Tow and show compact equipment to multiple customers per week.
- Other duties as assigned.
