Media Channel Manager - SEM Platforms

What We’re Looking For:

We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Media Channel Manager – SEM Platforms to lead the development, scaling, execution, and optimization of paid search campaigns across the Google Platform, Microsoft Ads, other relevant SEM platforms. This role requires deep technical expertise, strong strategic thinking, and will do hands-on management of large-scale SEM initiatives.

The ideal candidate brings 7+ years of experience in performance marketing with a proven track record of driving results through data-driven SEM strategies in complex, fast-paced environments.

Knowledge of other platforms, such as META, Reddit, and TikTok are considered a plus.

What You’ll Do:

• Own the full SEM strategy, planning, execution, and optimization of paid media campaigns across search platforms (Google Ads, Microsoft/Bing Ads, YouTube).
• Manage large monthly budgets with a focus on efficiency, ROI, and revenue growth.
• Lead keyword strategy, ad copy testing, bid management, negative keyword creation, and audience targeting.
• Analyze campaign data to extract insights, diagnose performance issues, and make data-backed decisions to enhance performance.
• Drive testing and optimization programs (A/B, multivariate) for creative, bidding models, and landing pages.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with content, analytics, product, and design teams to align paid strategies with business goals and user journeys.
• Stay ahead of SEM trends, automation capabilities, AI-driven optimizations, and industry updates.
• Mentor junior SEM team members or collaborate with agencies/vendors as needed.
• Report campaign results, insights, and recommendations to senior leadership on a regular basis.

What You Will Need:

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, Economics, or related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
• 7+ years of hands-on SEM experience managing multi-million-dollar ad budgets.
• Deep expertise with Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, and YouTube advertising.
• Strong proficiency with web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics GA4, Adobe Analytics) and campaign management platforms (e.g., SA360, Skai).
• Advanced Excel/Sheets skills and experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Looker Studio, Tableau).
• Strong understanding of attribution modeling, customer journey mapping, and incrementality testing.
• Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising certifications strongly preferred.
• Technical understanding of tracking and pixel set up is a plus.
• Experience with first-party data targeting, audience segmentation, and CRM integration is a plus.

Working Conditions:

• Continuous work on a personal computer. 
• Ability to work from home including stable internet connection.  
• Occasionally travel to headquarter office if necessary.

The starting base pay for this position is $100,000-$120,000 per year. The actual base pay offered may vary based on candidate’s job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographic location.

In addition to the base pay, this position may be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus as part of the compensation package.
