Description

The Video Production Manager is responsible for leading and managing live production teams at Peachtree Church, ensuring a seamless and impactful experience for Sunday worship services, concerts, performances, and live events across our campus. The candidate for this role will also have broad experience in video production and storytelling.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and develop the Production Team.
  • Provide constructive and timely performance evaluations.
  • Handle discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Live Production:

  • Oversee all AVL production for Sunday worship, including scheduling and leading contractors, interns, and volunteers.
  • Coordinate production rundown on Planning Center Online.
  • Lead Sunday technical rehearsals, run-throughs, and live production execution.
  • Coordinate AVL production for campus-wide events, including concerts, seasonal services, and ministry gatherings.

 

Video Production and Storytelling:

 

  • Produce compelling video content (testimonials, promotions, teaching content) in partnership with the Story, Communications, and Online Church teams.
  • Lead projects from concept through filming, editing, post-production, and delivery across platforms.
  • Maintain and manage video production gear and systems.
  • Organize and archive digital assets with consistency and clarity.

Team Management:

  • Supervise, coach, and develop production staff and volunteers.
  • Set project timelines, delegate tasks, and ensure on-time delivery with excellence and attention to detail.

Qualifications

Required Skills/Abilities:

 

  • Strong live production skills for a large venue, with an ability to provide comprehensive production support for worship services, performances, and events.
  • Strong video directing and production skills for multi-faceted projects, with an ability to bring videos from concept to delivery on multiple platforms.
  • Deep knowledge base in cinematography, cinema cameras, lenses, lighting design, audio, editing, music, post-production, and motion graphics.
  • Live video switching, shading, and camera operation as needed.
  • Lighting engineer as needed.
  • Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Collaborative, creative, and responsive—able to partner well with ministry teams and staff across departments.
  • Alignment with Peachtree’s mission and values, and a heart for helping others experience the transforming love of Christ.
  • Excels at storytelling.
  • Passionate about helping people connect with the life and mission of the church.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in live production or video production.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of live production experience in large venues
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of video production experience (video reel required)
  • Management experience is strongly preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
