Who We’re Looking For 

The Operations Coordinator is a key cross-functional role responsible for ensuring environmental due diligence projects are staffed efficiently and executed smoothly from start to finish. This position combines contractor network growth and management, project staffing and scheduling and internal cross-team communication to support the successful delivery of commercial real estate (CRE) environmental services. The ideal candidate brings operational experience in CRE due diligence reports and processes, is a detail-oriented problem solver with strong organizational skills, a collaborative mindset, and displays the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, service-driven environment.  

 

This is a hybrid position based in our Akron, OH or Gold River, CA location. Remote candidates may be considered based on CRE due diligence experience. 
 

How You’ll Make an Impact 

Staffing Strategy & Coordination:  

  • Partner with internal team members to plan, implement, and optimize a contractor network staffing strategy aligned with project demands. 

  • Identify hard-to-fill roles and geographies; proactively source talent to meet project needs. 

  • Support the onboarding and evaluation of contractors in partnership with the environmental consulting team. 

  • Partner with team members to align resource availability with pricing strategies. 

Project & Production Support: 

  • Learn and understand the commercial real estate (CRE) due diligence process and support project flow from order to delivery. 

  • Coordinate consultant scheduling, site visits, and on-site project requirements. 

  • Troubleshoot project issues and redirect to the appropriate team member(s) when needed. 

 

Communication & Liaison: 

  • Act as a liaison between internal teams, contractor networks, third-party providers, and clients. 

  • Communicate project status, needs, and updates clearly and professionally across all stakeholders. 

  • Ensure client questions and contractor requests are addressed promptly and accurately. 

 

Qualifications 

  • 3+ years of experience in project coordination work managing high level details with time sensitive requirements. 

  • 3+ years of experience in a data-oriented or client service environment. 

  • Experience with staffing environmental professionals and Land Surveyors for CRE environmental due diligence contractor networks a plus. 

  • Experience with contractor staffing strategies, scheduling, and resource coordination a plus. 

  • Familiarity with environmental due diligence reports and required contractor qualifications a plus 

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred 

  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) for interacting with contractors, vendors, and clients. 

  • High level of organization, accuracy, and time management; able to juggle multiple priorities. 

  • Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with diverse stakeholders. 

  • Problem-solving mindset with keen attention to detail. 

  • Comfort working both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

COMPENSATION 

Hourly range of $20.00 - $30.00 (~$42,000 - $62,000 annually)
