Position Title: Adjunct Faculty, Undergraduate Programs

 

Department Name: School of Undergraduate Studies

 

Position Reports To: Dean of School of Undergraduate Studies

 

FLSA STATUS: Exempt

 

Salary Range: $1,833.33 per unit

 

Benefits: Limited University's benefits

 

Days & Hours: Monday through Friday, 37.5 hours per week. Standard work schedule is 9:00 am to 5:30 PM, may be adjusted. Flexible schedule may require evening and weekend hours during peak periods.

 

BASIC FUNCTION AND SCOPE OF JOB:

 

Conduct university instruction for students in the Undergraduate Programs by performing the duties outlined below.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Instruct students in one or more of the following career areas:

  • Communications
  • English
  • Management
  • Mathematics
  • Liberal Arts
  • Humanities

Qualifications

  • Education requirement:
    • Master's degree (Ph.D. or Ed.D. preferred)
  • Years of experience:
    • 5 years of professional experience in the subject matter
  • Knowledge of:
    • Preferexperience in providing university instruction in both face-to-face and virtual contexts.
  • Direct job-related requirements:
    • Prefer familiarity with the Moodle LMS
