Essential Qualifications:
Certifications/Licensures:
- Valid drivers license and ability to obtain and maintain WestCares vehicle insurance is required
- CPR Certification, First Aid Certification and an annual Tuberculosis test
Education:
- A minimum of a High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (G.E.D.) is required
Experience and Competencies:
- General knowledge of housekeeping procedures is required
- Bilingual is preferreD
- Ability to perform physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials
- Ability to arrange things or actions in a certain order or pattern according to a specific rule or set of rules
- Ability to use hands and arms in handling, installing, positioning, and moving materials, and manipulating things
- General knowledge of early childhood development principles and developmentally appropriate educational practices
- Enthusiastic personality that will engage preschool children
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with adults and children
- Ability to communicate with teachers, support staff, parents, and students in a positive and constructive way
- Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives required
