Description

The purpose of this position is to provide nursing care to patients. The framework for practice will be the nursing process in order to prescribe, delegate and coordinate nursing care. The LPN or RN has contact with patients, patient families and visitors, hospital employees, referral agencies, volunteers, administration, and physicians. Effective interpersonal and communication skills are essential for this position. The LPN or RN must be able to supervise patient care, secure cooperation from others, problem-solve, and exercise initiative and judgement.

Casual and every other weekend


Compensation:
Hourly wage range for LPN hires: $23.79-$31.99. Hourly wage range for RN hires: $31.72-46.43, with BSN hires will receive an additional $1/hour. Please note that final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications and internal equity considerations.

Qualifications

Requirements are representative of minimum levels of knowledge, skills, and/or abilities.

  1. Education/Special Skills: To perform in this position requires the incumbent to be a graduate of a school of nursing with current licensure in Minnesota as an LPN or RN. This position requires current Healthcare Provider level CPR certification upon hire or must be obtained within 6 months.
  2. Successful completion of the pre-employment health screening process required.
  3. Must be able to attend the work site per schedule.
