Qualifications
Education & Experience:
- A bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university required
- 2-3 years experience working with middle and high school students required
- Experience and interest in working with both middle and upper School students and families required
- Experience with DEIB programming required
- Experience in a school environment preferred
- Experience in areas of social justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion preferred
- Proficiency in more than one language preferred
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills to establish and maintain effective working relationships with multiple constituents
- Ability and desire to be collaborative and flexible with a genuine enthusiasm for working with students and adults on and off campus
- A genuine joy, enthusiasm, and passion for students and for education
- Ability to balance independent work and self-management
- Ability to confidently and creatively problem solve
- Strong attention to detail
- Skills in project and budget management
- Experience in Microsoft Excel and other database programs
- Ability to maintain confidential information
- Flexibility, maturity, and a sense of humor
- Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusivity
- Proficient at working in a Microsoft Windows environment, using Office, including Outlook; ability to master common automated systems for record keeping, and confidently learn new technology; Experience with school-focused technology is a plus
- Ability to talk on the phone
- Ability to sit and keyboard up to 8 hours per day
- Ability to attend overnights
- Some travel required, local and national
Compensation and Benefits
Salary range is $58,000-$64,000 based on education and years of experience.
