Deerwood Bank is seeking a dedicated and professional Private Banker to join our team in the Waite Park or Sartell location. The Private Banker will be responsible for managing and maintaining private banking relationships with high net worth clients, providing advice on a variety of financial matters, promoting banking services and products, and ensuring client satisfaction. Our ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, a deep understanding of financial products and services, and proven experience in a private banking setting.
Primary Duties:
- Retain and grow existing high net worth customer deposit and loan relationships
- Acquire new customers and relationships which includes participating in outside client calls
- Resolve customer problems, obtain information, request the research of records, and follow up on details to resolve the matter to the customer’s satisfaction, whenever possible
- Generate new deposit account and cross-sale of other ancillary products and services
- Ability to work coordinate with other team members to ensure all clients' needs are met
- Participate in various professional associations and community activities to enhance the Bank’s visibility and to further personal and professional development
- Serve as main contact for Private Banking Department when clients come into the bank and/or over the phone
- Conduct activities consistent with established Deerwood Bank policies, procedures and systems, the Deerwood Bank Employee Conduct policies, the Bank Secrecy Act and all applicable state and federal laws and regulations
- All employees are responsible for information security, including compliance with policies and standards which protect sensitive information
- Prompt and reliable attendance
- Perform other duties as assigned
Job Skills Required:
- 3 years as a Private Banker
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Full knowledge of all retail banking and commercial services to be able to sell the bank’s services
- General knowledge of other bank services and must be able to refer clients to those areas
- Familiarity with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint
- Ability to present a positive image to clients at all times
- Ability to be flexible with schedule and prioritize a variety of tasks
- BS/BA in Business, Finance or relevant field
Starting Pay Rate: $90,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on qualifications.
