Young Global Professionals joining the Adrienne Arsht Latin America Center (AALAC) will work with regional experts to broaden understanding of regional transformations and deliver constructive, results-oriented solutions to inform how the public and private sectors can advance prosperity in the Western Hemisphere. AALAC interns will support a wide range of our thematic and country-specific portfolios, gaining valuable experience in Latin American and Caribbean economic and political issues.

This internship is based in our Washington, DC headquarters, requiring a minimum of 4 days per week in the office. Interns will be compensated at a rate of $18.00 per hour.

Responsibilities
- Conduct research to support the activities of the program/center as needed. Â
- Help draft policy briefs, blog posts, memos, articles, and other publications.Â
- Provide support for the logistical and operational functions of the program/center, particularly surrounding events and activities.Â
- Support the program/center development as needed.
- Produce readouts and summaries at meetings, roundtables, and strategy sessions for internal program archives.
- Conduct media outreach to promote the program/center’s events, publications, and writings.
- Support the program/center in creating and updating content on its website using WordPress.
