Starting Salary $70,000

Supervises: Kynect, Fatherhood, CCC, Health Coordinator, Mental Health Coordinator, Nutrition Coordinator

 

 

 

 

 

Position Summary:

The Senior Director of Health Impact provides strategic leadership and operational oversight for all health-related programs and services. This position is responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating initiatives that improve community health outcomes—particularly for low-income and underserved populations. The director works cross-functionally with departments, partners, and stakeholders to align services with broader social determinants of health.

 

 

 

 

 


 

 


Key Responsibilities:

 

 

 


Strategic Leadership:
• Develop and implement a comprehensive health impact strategy aligned with organizational goals.
• Lead innovation and continuous improvement in health services.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on public health.
• Promote integration with other service areas including education, economic mobility, and community building.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Program Oversight:
• Direct programs implementation for Kynect, Fatherhood Initiatives, CCC.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
• Monitor and report on program performance and client outcomes.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Team Development:
• Supervise Health Program Managers, Coordinators, and front-line staff.
• Promote a collaborative and accountable team culture.
• Recruit, train, and retain staff.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Partnerships & Advocacy:
• Build strong relationships with providers, agencies, and funders.
• Represent the organization in coalitions and community forums.
• Advocate for health equity and supportive public policies.

Data & Evaluation:
• Oversee data tracking and outcome evaluation processes.
• Use data insights to drive program improvement and reporting.
• Ensure timely compliance with grant and contract reporting.
• Use agency and funder systems reporting platforms to track outcomes and inform continuous improvement.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Budget & Compliance:
• Develop and manage departmental budgets.
• Ensure fiscal responsibility and funding sustainability.
• Oversee program audits and financial documentation.

 

 

 

 

Qualifications

Qualifications:
• Bachelor degree in Public Health, Healthcare Administration, Social Work, or related field (required)
• Minimum of 5-7 years of leadership experience in health programs
• Knowledge of health disparities and social determinants of health
• Experience managing federally or state-funded programs
• Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills
• Proficiency in data systems, compliance reporting, and budgeting
• Experience with culturally diverse and underserved populations
• Familiarity with Medicaid, Kynect, and health navigation models
