Trumbull Kitchen in Hartford, CT, one of our renowned restaurants, is currently seeking a highly experienced Sauté Cook to join our family! We pride ourselves on being at the culinary forefront with creative dishes, white glove service, and top-notch hospitality. Responsibilities:

• Prepare food for a fine dining restaurant under the Executive Chef
• Create seasonal menu changes and detailed specials to wow our guests
• Ensure compliance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations
• Follow established policies and procedures to ensure safe and high-quality food service
• Prepare all items needed for service, including chopping vegetables, making sauces, and butchering meat
• Prepare items for other stations or special events as needed

What We’re Looking For:

• Extensive experience in a food service setting; additional culinary training/coursework is a plus
• Passionate about cooking with great creativity and understanding of culinary basics
• Commitment to customers and reliability to co-workers
• Self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented
• Effective oral and written skills, good time management skills, and professional dress and behavior
• Positive outlook and strong teamwork skills
