- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current Maryland Security Guard Certification (PREFERRED)
- Strong observational and communication skills
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Prior military, law enforcement, or armed security experience preferred
Guards will be expected to patrol by foot, interior and exterior of large facilities. Duties are to include prolonged standing at entry/exit and control points, pedestrian and vehicle traffic control stations with heavy volume. Requires rapid response to emergency situations involving personnel, costly equipment and facilities. Requires mental alertness and mental stability in dealing with people and emergencies. Some contracts, or assignments, may require higher, other, or special physical standards.
