This is a meaningful opportunity to join a collaborative, passionate team working to make a difference in the lives of over 45,000 Girl Scouts across the region.

About the Role

As the Philanthropic Engagement Manager, you will lead efforts to cultivate and steward mid-level donors, ensuring they feel valued, inspired, and connected to our mission. Through thoughtful engagement strategies, targeted discovery outreach, and memorable donor experiences, you will play a key role in advancing our fundraising goals and strengthening our donor pipeline. You’ll work closely with the Director of Philanthropy, supervise the Philanthropy Operations Specialist, and collaborate across departments to align donor engagement with organizational priorities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cultivate and steward mid-level donors through personalized outreach, discovery, and engagement strategies that grow annual giving and deepen relationships.
  • Plan and execute signature fundraising and stewardship events, including Women of Distinction, Girl Scout Golf Classic, Always a Girl Scout Gala, and other donor recognition gatherings.
  • Identify and qualify prospective major donors through research, outreach, and relationship-building.
  • Lead volunteer committees and advisory groups, fostering meaningful involvement and supporting fundraising goals.
  • Supervise the Philanthropy Operations Specialist and ensure strong operational systems, accurate data management, and timely gift processing.
  • Collaborate across departments to align donor engagement strategies with organizational priorities and maximize impact.

What You Bring

  • 4-6 years’ experience in donor relations, fundraising, or event management, with proven success planning and executing fundraising events.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills; you thrive in relationship-building roles.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems; comfort analyzing data to guide decisions.
  • A collaborative spirit, growth mindset, and commitment to donor-centric engagement.
  • Supervisory experience and CFRE certification are preferred.

Some of Our Benefits

  • 100% employer-paid HMO health insurance for employees (dependent coverage, POS, dental/vision available).
