Kamp Houston is one of the city’s go-to nightlife destinations, and our valet team is the first and last impression for hundreds of guests each night. We’re hiring a Valet Cashier to handle payments and ticket reconciliation, keep traffic moving smoothly at the podium, and deliver fast, friendly service under pressure.

  • Pay:  $15 per hour

Key Responsibilities

  • Guest Payments & Ticketing

    • Accurately process cash, credit-card, and digital app payments.

    • Match and validate claim checks with vehicle keys; maintain tight control of all tickets.

  • Customer Service

    • Greet every guest with energy and professionalism; answer basic questions about parking rates and venue policies.

    • Resolve payment or ticket discrepancies quickly and courteously.

  • Coordination & Communication

    • Relay vehicle-ready calls to valet drivers.

    • Track vehicle locations to minimize wait times.

  • Cash Handling & Reporting

    • Balance cash drawer at end of shift; prepare nightly deposit log and shift summary.

    • Flag any variances or irregularities immediately to the Valet Supervisor.

  • Safety & Appearance

    • Keep the cashier podium organized and clutter-free.

    • Follow all Kamp Houston safety, traffic-flow, and appearance standards.

Qualifications

 

  • Previous experience in a high-volume cashier, parking, or hospitality role (nightlife or event venue preferred).

  • Strong math accuracy and attention to detail when handling cash and POS systems.

  • Clear, confident communicator; able to stay calm and friendly with impatient or intoxicated patrons.

  • Able to stand outdoors for 7-9 hours, sometimes in heat or rain.

  • Must be at least 18 years old and eligible to work in the U.S.

  • Reliable transportation to arrive on time for every scheduled shift for a full-time schedule to include (but not limited to) every Friday–Sunday, 5/6 p.m.–3 a.m.

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
