Description

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Process accounts payable transactions, including invoice verification and payment processing for property management and construction.
  • Analyze financial data to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Maintain accurate records of accounts payable transactions in the general ledger.
  • Perform general ledger reconciliation to ensure all accounts are balanced.
  • Collaborate with human resources to manage employee-related expenses and reimbursements.
  • Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, AppFolio, and Acumatica, for data entry and reporting purposes.
  • Assist in month-end closing activities related to accounts payable.
  • Respond to vendor inquiries regarding payment status and discrepancies.

Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of experience in multi-family construction or similar mixed-use project construction and property management.
  • Proven experience as an accounts payable clerk or similar role.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze financial data effectively.
  • Proficiency in accounting software; experience with Quicken or Ceridian is a plus.
  • Knowledge of technical accounting principles and practices.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks while meeting deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and vendors.
