Executive Director of Pharmacy – Emergency Medicine, 503B & Tray Services

The Organization and Mission

Are you a strategic pharmacy leader with deep expertise in operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and innovative medication distribution solutions? LeeSar and Cooperative Services of Florida (CSF) are seeking an Executive Director of Pharmacy to oversee and advance our 503B compounding facility, Emergency Medicine (EMS) pharmacy services, and tray management operations.

In this highly visible executive role, you will lead multiple pharmacy service lines, partner with internal and external stakeholders, and drive performance, safety, and growth initiatives that directly support our member hospitals and EMS partners across the region.

What You’ll Do

Lead & Oversee Pharmacy Service Lines

• Direct day-to-day operations for 503B compounding, EMS, and tray management services.
• Provide strategic and operational leadership across all assigned departments to ensure safe, compliant, and cost-effective services.

Drive Organizational Strategy & Operational Excellence

• Lead strategic planning, policy development, and quality initiatives.
• Evaluate new technologies and innovations to enhance efficiency and medication safety.
• Partner with compliance leaders to maintain readiness for state and federal regulatory requirements.

Build High-Performing Teams

• Oversee recruitment, training, scheduling, performance reviews, and retention efforts.
• Foster a collaborative culture emphasizing accountability, engagement, and professional growth.

Advance Member & Stakeholder Partnerships

• Maintain strong relationships with hospital pharmacy leadership, informatics teams, and external agencies.
• Support onboarding of new member organizations and collaborate with executives to ensure service continuity and satisfaction.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) required; Master’s in business or management strongly preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in pharmacy.
• Active Florida Registered Pharmacist and Consultant Pharmacist licenses.
• Experience with 503B compounding, emergency medicine pharmacy, or medication distribution systems strongly preferred.
• Proven ability to lead operations, manage budgets, and maintain regulatory compliance.
• Strong communication, organizational, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work on-site with flexibility for extended hours, weekends, or holidays as needed.
