POSITION SUMMARY
This position functions as a grounds technician for commercial properties and is responsible for the overall curb appeal of Block 5. This position must be able to work independently, manage time efficiently, and provide excellent customer service to employees and all tenants, residents, and guests of Block 5.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct Routine Property Walkthroughs – Perform regular inspections of the property grounds to ensure all areas are clean, organized, and free of debris. Identify and address any maintenance or safety concerns promptly.
- Maintain Cleanliness of Public Areas – Empty trash receptacles located along sidewalks, entrances, and within the parking ramp. Ensure waste is properly disposed of and receptacles are clean and presentable.
- Monitor and Maintain Landscaping – Keep landscaping areas neat and attractive by monitoring for overgrowth, removing weeds, and reporting any issues to management. While minimal grass or landscaping is present, ensure these areas remain well-kept.
- Assist with Snow Removal – Support snow and ice removal efforts in high-traffic areas, entrances, and other priority locations, particularly if the contracted vendor is delayed or misses certain spots.
- Perform General Upkeep – Carry out any additional tasks necessary to maintain the overall appearance and functionality of the property, including minor touch-ups, cleaning, and special projects as assigned.
- Perform all other duties assigned and those that may be necessary to achieve company and departmental goals.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) and/or 1-2 years related experience.
