Location: Onsite (Houston, TX)

FLSA: Exempt, Regular Full Time, Salary

Pay Range: $70,000 – 80,000 per year

Sagis Diagnostics is an entirely physician-led sub-specialty pathology group supported by a CAP-accredited histology lab located in the heart of Houston, Texas. Led by a team of board-certified pathologists, our lab is at the forefront of diagnostic science. We offer the highest quality services to physicians, physician groups, ambulatory surgery centers, and hospitals.

The Client Services Manager will interact with current and future Sagis clients to disseminate information, gauge customer satisfaction, and manage client relationships to ensure excellent customer service. This position will improve the client experience by responding to queries, resolving issues, and optimizing applicable workflows. Additionally, this position will be responsible for identifying areas for improvement, developing, and implementing initiatives aimed at enhancing Sagis Diagnostics’s services and the client experience, and collaborating on cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Ensure internal and external Customers, Patients, and Sagis Marketing Teams are provided with accurate and timely responses with respect to:

  • The status of all specimen collection from pick-up, through the laboratory process, and physician sign-off
  • Be aware and monitor all STAT (expedite) requests, along with the laboratory team
  • Ensure the integrity and privacy of all information from Sagis systems is maintained
  • Use LIS and billing systems to research and provide information upon request

Manage intercompany company communications to achieve Client Service Objectives:

  • Develop and nurture proactive relationships both internally and externally.
  • Owners and Partners
  • Executive Leadership Team
  • Sales and Marketing Teams
  • Laboratory and Operations Teams
  • Logistics Team and Providers
  • Supplier Teams
  • Proactively communicate with internal and external customers all information that will negatively impact their expectations.
  • Actively pursue process improvements and corrective actions to prevent issues before they arise.

Manage the Department Staff with respect to:

  • Training, coaching, mentoring, and staff development
  • Assignment of duties and daily oversight
  • Strategic and proactive hiring
  • Performance management
  • Guidance and corrective action
  • Ensure that company policies and procedures are introduced, understood, documented, and followed by department staff.
  • Develop strong internal relationships with managers in other departments to ensure that client needs are prioritized appropriately across the organization.
  • Develop and implement metrics and goals for individual staff members that contribute to departmental and company objectives.
  • Track, measure, and report on department and individual staff performance to senior management as requested.
  • Actively participate in and contribute to corporate initiatives, projects, and committees as assigned.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Qualifications

Education and Experience 

  • Bachelor’s degree or combination of education and work experience 
  • 10 plus years of client services related experience 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to speak clearly and effectively convey complex information 
  • Strong management, organizational, and prioritization skills 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint 

Work Environment

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in an office setting. 
  • Off-site visits and meetings will apply when working on external events such as, conferences and fundraisers. 

Physical Demands

  • The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to type, file, sit for extended periods of time and lift office supplies up to 20 pounds. The employee is frequently required to stand, talk and listen.
