The Production Supervisor oversees performance, output, and safety during an assigned shift. This leadership role reports to the Production Manager and is critical in ensuring smooth, high-volume production in a clean, fast-paced environment. Crown Linen operates 365 days a year, so a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays is required.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES |
- Supervise and coordinate daily operations of receiving, washing, drying, folding, and distributing linens
- Ensure adherence to production schedules and quality control standards
- Communicate performance expectations and operational goals clearly to team members
- Monitor individual and team performance, provide coaching and feedback
- Monitor key metrics such as PPOH, quality, and labor efficiency, and report performance data
- Identify and support continuous improvement projects using Lean or Six Sigma tools
- Promote and enforce a culture of safety, cleanliness, and accountability
- Assist in hiring, training, evaluations, and, when necessary, disciplinary actions
- Submit shift reports, KPIs, attendance, and safety incidents accurately and on time
- Collaborate with Maintenance and Management teams to resolve production issues quickly
- Lead by example and foster a team-oriented work environment
- Help resolve employee issues, customer escalations, and equipment downtime alongside supervisors
- Ensure plant compliance with OSHA, safety standards, and company policies
