Position Overview
The Supply and Pricing Specialist (Evening Shift) is a key member of the Carroll Fuels procurement team, responsible for supporting evening operations related to supply planning, pricing, contract administration, and customer support. This role ensures accurate, timely fuel purchasing, pricing, and allocation activities while maintaining internal systems and supporting logistics and sales teams.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and able to work independently to manage complex data and communication flows across departments. This role is critical to maintaining continuity and accuracy during off-peak hours and enhancing overall supply chain efficiency.
Core Responsibilities:
Supply & Market Monitoring
- Track real-time changes in market conditions and terminal allocations.
- Maintain product allocation data and share updates with procurement, logistics, and sales teams.
- Support the execution of the daily supply plan to meet forecasted demand.
Pricing & Contract Administration
- Generate and distribute daily price files for branded and unbranded fuel products.
- Assist in customer quoting processes using pricing and risk management tools.
- Maintain pricing software integrations and troubleshoot system issues as needed.
- Support contract compliance by managing terms, delivery schedules, and pricing accuracy.
Analytical & Administrative Support
- Conduct margin analysis, contract value assessments, and cost optimization reviews.
- Log and document procurement activities in internal databases (e.g., CRM, ERP).
- Assist with invoice verification and coordination with the accounting department.
- Prepare end-of-shift reports and communicate key updates to the day team.
Customer & Sales Support
- Serve as an evening liaison for CTC, CBF, and COM sales teams, responding to pricing and supply inquiries.
- Coordinate with logistics to ensure optimal sourcing and pull-point recommendations.
- Respond to customer requests and provide accurate and timely information as needed.
