Job Summary:  The Accounts Payable Clerk is responsible for processing invoices, reconciling vendor statements, and ensuring timely and accurate payments. The ideal candidate is organized, efficient, and capable of handling a high volume of transactions while maintaining accuracy and professionalism. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review supplier invoices in E1 accounting system and code accordingly
  • Correspond with each division regarding any invoice/payment discrepancies
  • Match supplier invoices with purchase order receipts and enter invoices daily
  • Attach invoice copies to payment transaction in E1 accounting system
  • Assist with other daily responsibilities of the Accounting Department
  • Other duties as assigned, including project work as needed

 

 

Qualifications

What We Are Looking For:

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Associate’s Degree in accounting, or equivalent work experience preferred.
  • 2+ years’ experience with accounts payable or general accounting
  • Excellent data entry skills with a high degree of accuracy and a strong attention to detail
  • Proficient Microsoft Office knowledge, with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Knowledge of JD Edwards System preferred, but not mandatory.
  • Superior communication abilities both written and verbal.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
