General Summary: Â
Responsible for the management and coordination of all regional warehouse activities over multiple branches. Â Assures all departments pursue continuous improvement, positive leadership and provide quality services to our external and internal customers. Â Directs and controls warehouse activities to ensure the efficient and economical utilization of facilities for storing and distributing inventory; and manages the quality and safety aspects of the warehouse.
Key Responsibilities:
1.   Leads and directs the warehouse supervisors for all shifts.
2.   Responsible for creating a safe work environment for our employees through the McNaughton-McKay safety program and OSHA guidelines.
3.   Responsible for the quality system in the warehouses and leads the effort in the warehouses to receive ISO certification.
4.   Strong focus on developing employees for future career opportunities.
5.   Coordinates regular meetings with warehouse supervisors, and other members of leadership from related departments.
6.   Strong focus on continuous improvement, culture, and professionalism.
7.   Responsible for meeting customer service commitments on all shifts.
8.   Provides leadership in creating the most efficient logistics system throughout the Northern Region.
9.   Provides leadership in all warehouses to facilitate large projects.
10.   Ensures that warehouse team members are performing in accordance with established work instructions.
11.   Works with supervisors to coordinate the workload of warehouse employees, shift schedules, and expedites workflow.Â
12.   Directs supervisors and team members to maintain facilities in tour ready condition.
13.   Monitors warehouse business reports to ensure efficiency.
14.   Conducts annual performance evaluation reviews.
15.   Oversees department budget and controls costs.
16.   Ensures that all safety policies and procedures are followed, and safety training is completed.
Facility Maintenance Responsibilities:
1.   Responsible for coordinating and managing tasks performed on facilities and equipment.
2.   Maintains production equipment in a manner that meets company standards and ensures minimum equipment down time.Â
3.   Establishes and maintains preventative maintenance procedures.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
1.   Bachelor’s degree preferred; additional experience will be considered in lieu of education.
2.   At least five years’ industry experience with a minimum of two years in a leadership, supervisory or management position.
3.   Experience with inventory controls, warehouse layout and design, shipping, receiving, and scheduling is preferred.
4.   Proven leadership ability with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
5.   Solid organizational skills and attention to detail.
6.   Ability to deal with all aspects of personnel issues.
7.   Requires problem solving capabilities, and the ability to react quickly to complex situations.
8.   Working knowledge of MS Office products including Word & Excel.

Working Conditions:Â Â Â Normal warehouse environment with travel between regional facilities.
