Job Summary: The Assistant Branch Manager supports the Branch Manager in overseeing daily
operations, focusing on compliance and operational excellence. This role ensures the branch
adheres to regulatory requirements, bank policies, and delivers exceptional customer service
while assisting with staff supervision, financial reporting, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Branch Manager in supervising and managing daily branch operations.
  • Ensure the branch complies with all applicable bank policies, regulations, and laws.
  • Monitor branch activities to identify and address compliance risks.
  • Support the hiring, training, and mentoring of branch staff to maintain high performance levels.
  • Resolve customer requests, complaints, and account problems efficiently.
  • Assist with analyzing financial reports and helping the branch meet its financial objectives.
  • Oversee and manage operational processes to ensure smooth branch functionality.
  • Collaborate with the Branch Manager to develop and implement customer retention and acquisition strategies.
  • Promote a healthy and collaborative workplace environment, ensuring staff well-being.
  • 100% On Site and no Hybrid Schedules

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field (or
equivalent experience)

Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in banking or financial services
  • At least 1 year of experience in an operational or supervisory role

Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of banking regulations and compliance standards
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in banking software and operational systems
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
