Part-Time Events Set-Up & Tear-Down Crew

Do you enjoy working behind the scenes to make memorable events happen? Are you physically active and team-oriented? Forest Lake Club is looking for a reliable and energetic Part-Time Set-Up & Tear-Down Crew Member to help bring our events to life!

What You'll Do:

  • Set up and break down tables, chairs, linens, and décor for weddings, banquets, and club events

  • Work alongside the Food & Beverage and Events teams to ensure every event is picture-perfect

  • Keep storage and event areas clean and organized

  • Safely maneuver furniture and equipment throughout indoor and outdoor spaces

Qualifications

Qualifications, Education, & Experience:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each responsibility successfully. This person must present a neat appearance and have a warm, cheerful personality.  Tact and good judgment are especially beneficial characteristics.  This person must also possess the knowledge, skill, and ability to carry out the job responsibilities. 

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Willingness to work weekends, evenings, and holidays
  • Ability to thrive in an active, noisy, and demanding environment
  • Interest in shift work
  • Ability to communicate effectively with managers, employees and guests in a fast-paced environment.

 

Physical Requirements:

This is a physically demanding role that involves constant movement, lifting, and coordination with team members to move heavy furniture and equipment.

  • Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull 75+ pounds regularly, as part of a team
  • Prolonged periods of standing and walking
  • Frequent bending, kneeling, squatting, and reaching
  • Ability to maneuver and reposition large furniture pieces such as tables, chairs, podiums, and staging
  • Comfortable navigating stairwells and tight spaces with equipment
  • Must be able to tolerate varying indoor and outdoor working conditions, including heat and humidity
  • Requires full range of body motion, including handling and assembling equipment or décor items
