Description

SUMMARY:  Responsible for set-up, take down, and sanitation requirements of breakfast preparation for hotel guests.

 

 ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:                                                        

  • Cultivates a respectful workplace by maintaining respect of attendance, respect of performance, respect of behavior and respect of common sense and judgement 
  • Prepares/cooks food according to recipes
  • Prepares food according to the menu and quantity needed for occupancy of hotel
  • Maintains food, supply and equipment inventory weekly and orders as needed
  • Greets guests and accommodates special requests as needed
  • Maintains daily temperature and waste logs
  • Receives, dates and examines food products and supplies to ensure quality and quantity meet order requests and standard specifications
  • Restocks food items during breakfast hours and cleans breakfast area, utensils and kitchens at the close of breakfast
  • Follows company policies and procedures at all times
  • Ensures fair treatment and respect of employees and guests
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor or management

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:                                                                                                            

 

Education/Experience: High School Diploma or GED equivalent.  Minimum of three months hotel breakfast attendant experience or equivalent training and experience

  • Ability to multi-task
  • Must have the ability to read, write and speak the English language.

 

 Working Conditions:

  • Will be required to work nights, weekends and holidays.
  • Will be required to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • The employee may be exposed to hazards including, but are not limited to, cuts, slipping, tripping, falls and burns.
  • Frequent hand washing is required

 

 

 

 

RELATIONSHIPS:                                                                                                               

 

Internal:  General Manager, Assistant General Manager, Peers, and Field Operations at the corporate level

 

External:  Guests - To provide customer service

                  Vendors - To place and receive orders
