Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of five years’ experience in the insurance industry.
- Emphasis on Marketing/Sales, Business, or Agriculture-related fields of study preferred.
- Possess a current Property/Casualty license or demonstrate willingness to obtain one.
- Working knowledge of Property/Casualty insurance products, with a strong preference for candidates with insurance sales experience.
Required Knowledge and Skills:
- Basic understanding of underwriting concepts, practices, and procedures within the property and casualty industry.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with agents.
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both orally and in writing, including email and other electronic methods, while maintaining confidentiality in daily operations.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to deliver occasional presentations to agents.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time as required to successfully perform the duties of the position.
- Position is home-based within the assigned territory and requires regular travel throughout Nebraska.
