What Our GMs Do 

General Managers at Salt & Straw are hands-on operators and team builders who live our values in action. You’ll: 

• Oversee daily operations, including scheduling, payroll, inventory, and facilities, making every detail count 

• Hire, train, and develop a high-performing team of Shift Coordinators and Scoopers, sharing human kindness and building strong foundations

• Have 3+ years of food service, hospitality, or retail experience 

• Have managed teams of 10+ in a fast-paced environment 

• Know how to train, develop, and support people with care and clarity

• Are ready to own both the people and operational sides of a shop 

• Are 18+ and available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays 

Wage Transparency

The hourly rate range listed for General Manager roles in West LA and Beach Cities is $29.40-$36.99 per hour, which reflects the full earning potential across all shops within this district.
