QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience in financial management, accounting, or a similar role, preferably within a non-profit organization
- Solid understanding of US GAAP; demonstrated experience in all aspects of accounting mentioned in the above job description.
- Familiarity with QuickBooks Online accounting software
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, knowledge of financial principles, and proficiency in accounting software.
- Excellent oral and written communication
- Strong organizational skills- must be detail-oriented
- Ability to work as part of a team and multi-task
- Proficient computer knowledge and skills

- Must be cleared and maintain clearance throughout the duration of employment by NYC DOE fingerprinting.
