Full range: $62,500–$76,400/year + up to 20% quarterly bonus potential

As a GM, you’ll be the fearless captain of the shop: building an incredible team, driving strong performance, and creating a space where guests feel seen, heard, and full of joy (and ice cream). You’ll coach, inspire, and make real-time decisions that shape our culture and guest experience every single day. This is a role for someone who leads with heart, thrives on momentum, and believes that ice cream really can change the world.

 

📝 What You’ll Do:
Our GMs are the full-package shop leaders: operators, motivators, culture shapers, and experience-makers.

  • Lead shop operations with excellence—staffing, payroll, inventory, facilities, and more
  • Recruit, coach, and grow a team of AGMs, Shift Coordinators, and Scoopers
  • Drive daily and long-term shop performance goals (sales, labor, guest experience)
  • Model and deliver hospitality that leaves a lasting impression
  • Build community connections and support local marketing activations
  • Communicate clearly and consistently—both with your team and across departments
  • Solve hiccups, tackle challenges, and celebrate the wins
  • Keep things safe, compliant, and aligned with Salt & Straw standards
  • Taste new flavors daily—because we believe knowing our product helps us serve better

💫 You’re a Great Fit If You:

  • Have 3+ years of experience in food service or hospitality
  • Bring 2+ years of progressive leadership experience
  • Have led teams of 10+ in a high-volume retail or restaurant environment
  • Love leading from the front and developing others
  • Know how to balance fun, flavor, and financials
  • Communicate with clarity and coach with care
  • Are 18+ and available evenings, weekends, and holidays
